Making of the track 'Music is my suicide by Taalspin'

It's my first released track in the genre of house music, earlier I released two psytrance tracks independently. I made this track in lockdown 2020 and with much more time on my hand, I experimented with other music styles apart from psytrance. This gave birth to the track.

The music

I wanted to keep the music elements very simple and clean. But give my touch of acidic sounds and Punjabi sound elements to the track in a controlled way. The bassline is basic and has a groove that complements other sounds in the track. Adding different acidic sounds for FX sounds in the progressive nature adds different layers of sense to the track.

The vocals

The acapella came in a sample pack which I got earlier. I searched many vocals on the internet that can be used in the track. This vocal fits in the best way. I already layered the bass and basic chords of the track, after changing it three times of course. I decided to stick to it and find a vocal that matches. These are royalty-free vocals and can be used by anyone to compose their own track.

This was a little story behind making this track. You might have a question why I released a house track after releasing the psytrance track under the same project? Well, it's a long story and I'll share it in the future when I'm comfortable. Long story short, it's a choice that I made.
